About Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty was born on November 1st, 1974. Although when she was created she did not have a name. She was initially seen as a kitty with a small red bow in her ear, sitting down. Hello Kitty instantly became a celebrity with her cute character and simple design.

Hello Kitty finally got her name after the launch of her first product. It was a little purse with Hello Kitty embodied on its side. This is also the time that Hello Kitty’s family was introduced around 1976.

It wasn’t until 1977 that Sanrio took over as Owner and Distributor of Hello Kitty. Giving her new poses, from waiving, to flying a plane and riding a dolphin. She soon became very popular amongst school children and even some young adults.

Hello Kitty’s fame grew every year. About 1990 she came out with her comic series in the US. This help capture more fans because it gave people the chance to see that she was a sweet, kind hearted kitty, with lots of friends and family.
Since then I feel that Hello Kitty has grown by leaps and bounds. This cute and cuddly Kitty has taken the hearts of men, woman and children all over the world. With what I feel more branded products that any other company. Ranging from; color books, stickers, pillow, toasters, coffee makers, pillows and even wedding dresses.

I feel that Hello Kitty is arguable the most popular brand in the world. For many reason, such as her simple and cute ability to brand any product or merchandise. Her ability to capture the hearts of both men and woman. I personally do not know too many men or ladies who are not cool the “The Kitty” (What I prefer to Hello Kitty sometimes)

Many people have expressed their love for Hello Kitty in different ways. Some people choose to completely decorate entire rooms in Hello Kitty. While other get tattoos of their favorite Hello Kitty possess.
